I think it's safe to assume that about half of you fashionistas tuned in to watch the 74th Annual Golden Globes, right? If not, I will give you MY personal opinion on one of the most amazing red carpet nights of the year. There were several designers that showed up pretty heavily on the, in fact there were even ones that we carry in house at OPC.
The STUNNING Louis Vuitton dress worn by Kerry Washington was a show stopper. Even when Kerry isn’t in a floor length gold Louis Vuitton dress she is still beautiful, but this dress is a huge compliment to her curves and proves that YES women with shape and curves can pull off shimmer and sine, just as well as anyone else.
As always, Louis Vuitton is holding true to the metallic colors that we saw at Fashion Week 2016. Just in time for Spring/Summer 2017 to revamp the metallic style using more exaggerated lines, and uses of multiple metallic patterns together.
Although it may seem out of the box and a tad “runway-ish” I believe that metallics are going to be around for awhile, so continue to look forward to what other mastermind designers come up with next.
Priyanka Chopra who is an Indian actress, singer, film producer, philanthropist, and the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant, has to be wearing my all-time favorite Red Carpet Dress this year (second to the J.Lo pink and green see through floral dress of course).
Priyanka is wearing a custom Gold foil beaded dress by Ralph Lauren.
