Luxury is something we always strive for and TAH Bags is it. We love this brand and Angelina Marie, the owner behind the helm, is a class act and talented designer. Her designer skills for her pieces are so thoughtfully-made and the items themselves are sublimely handcrafted to perfection. For National Hispanic Heritage Month, brands we love are all over our radar, but we wanted to especially highlight the beauty and class of TAH Bags. We had our team pick their top pieces from Angelina’s line, and we styled it with creativity and functionality in mind.

Like most women, founder Angelina Marie schlepped her numerous essentials daily in her work bag. With the multiple work shoes to carry, she wanted to create a way to effectively tuck them into her bag, so TAH (“Tote-a-Heel”) Bags was born out of necessity.
Each piece of Angelina’s collection is made from quality, full-grain leather, and solid brass hardware. They’re handcrafted in the leather capital of Leon, Mexico at a superb, multi-generational family-run business known for its expertise in leather goods.
Angelina is a proud Hispanic-American businesswoman and she shared with us that she got her initiation into the fashion world from her sweet mom and how she inspired her.
"She loved style and fashion. I grew up thrifting with my mom; she knew all the quality labels and what to look for. I learned that quality was worth the time and effort. She enjoyed reading Vogue. She always wore red lipstick and had her nails painted red. That inspired the red lining I use in all of my bags."
Her family's imprint on her life has extended far beyond memorable family dinners every weekend or banding together through rough moments.
"My grandmother made clothing for her kids and grandkids. Fashion has been a part of my family for a while. My dad also helped me design my first prototype using cardboard and tape. I didn’t have a lot of money to spend on tech packs etc., so we found a clever way to make it happen."
What National Hispanic Heritage Month and her Hispanic roots mean to her:
"My Hispanic heritage means family, hard work, music, and good food. In fashion, it means true quality, red lips, and fashion magazines."
We're so thrilled and honored to share Hispanic-American fashion innovators like Angelina. We can't wait to see how she keeps setting the bar higher and higher. See our other TAH Bags favorites at the Queen Anna Style Mark blog.
