Stay Inspired by your Wardrobe

Hello, ladies!

Do you ever feel like you have nothing to wear even though you have an entire closet full of clothes? We’ve all been there! Believe it or not, there are ways to keep up on trends and fashion inspiration without breaking the bank. We at Posh will talk about ways to keep your inspiration going with your daily outfits.

Mix and match // Here at Posh, we strive on mix-matching in order to make the best possible outfits while staying unique. Mixing patterns and textures in ways you wouldn’t think of before is a great way to update your wardrobe without actually updating it! You could never go wrong with pairing leopard print heels with a peach colored blouse and trench coat. Find time to experiment with what you have, and you’ll always be fabulous.

Social media is your friend // Stay inspired in your wardrobe by researching on platforms like Instagram and Pinterest, save what you love, and try to work that into what you already have. (If you’re not already following us, give it a shot, we have tons of inspiring outfits! 😉 ). There are plenty of fabulous fashion bloggers that post just for this reason! Take screenshots, and do your best to recreate what you’ve seen that inspires you.

Classic pieces are a must // Classics will never steer you wrong, as they are called classic for a reason. Stock up and utilize items to your advantage! Pieces like a pair of jeans and a button down top can be worked into outfits that are a bit more daring to make a cohesive look. Putting together outfits without at least one classic item makes for a much more difficult process when deciding what to wear.

Shop pieces that will go with already existing clothing that you have // This is a great rule to go by when doing your periodic shopping indulgence. If a piece of clothing you find while shopping goes with three or more outfits at home, then go for it! Otherwise, you don’t want to be stuck with an item that you LOVE but can’t wear because you have nothing to wear it with.

Organize and get rid of clothing on a regular basis // This can be very hard to do. A good way to get started is to ask yourself: “when was the last time I wore this?” and go from there. It may be hard to believe, but keeping a more curated collection of clothing makes the decision of what you’re going to wear much easier! PLUS, it just gives you all the more reason to come shop at OPC, where you’ll find any and all of the above. 😉😘

Until next time,
