Not all followers of TPM are mothers, but for those of you who are I am sure you can relate to putting yourself on the back burner. I know personally that when I realized I had been caring for everyone but myself I was married 8 years, weighed 30 pounds over my ideal weight, and looked in the mirror and had to ask myself “Who are you?"
It was then I decided to come outside the shadow of my Super Bowl winning husband and do something for myself. I went to vegas on an all girls trip, jumped out of a plane, went to a shooting range, chopped all my hair off and started POSH.
I started focusing on the inner me, and digging deep within to see what it was I really wanted for myself and that was to be more physically fit, and happy with what I saw in the mirror. I started the Atkins diet, hired a trainer, and devoted 3-5 days to hard core cardio and weight training. Week by week I started to feel a little better about myself as I saw the changes in my clothes and the way they fit. I even got started in yoga!
